Jenny really stuck it to us this week by requiring us to limit our posts to 25 words. No, that is not a joke. It's all part of Saturday Centus, her creative and educational meme. If you aren't familiar with this meme, click on Saturday Centus above and learn the rules and regs. And be sure to visit Jenny at her blog, "...off on my tangent" by clicking on her name at the beginning of this paragraph.
Here's my attempt at this abbreviated post.
The lottery ticket
hid in the left pocket
of his shirt where it would
travel to the machine
and be washed to a pulp.
It was a winner.

Oh Noooooo! I hate that! So happens it has happened to us many times. Usually my husbands drivers license and SS card. Great take on the prompt!~Ames
Check those pockets, people!! Great take on the prompt!
And that is what you get for doing the laundry on time! :)
Great story! How touching and sad, you did a terrific job with only 25 words!
Oops! Nice cj ;-) My tickets go in my wallet...have not yet washed my wallet...peace and blessings friend...
Nicely done, but how sad.

Geez. Can you imagine what a colossal drag that would be?!
Good one, CJ!
=)
That would be really bad, wouldn't it? So much for secrets that lead to lost windfalls....very nice take. :)
This REALLY makes me laugh. If I did buy lottery tickets, I'm sure I'd do something like that. Thanks for the laughs, CJ.

Nooo! the amount of things I retreive out of my partners pocket AFTER washing makes this all too true!
no no no .... i have put a few of my own through the washer ... great story!
oh...that is harsh!
Oh my, I sure hope they didn't realize they had winning numbers. Ignorance is bliss, and all that. Great take on the prompt CJ. And I can't believe that Jeff has never washed his wallet. My husband has the cleanest wallet (and guitar picks) in town :) Kat
BUMMER, I wash things all the time...I need to remember this if I ever buy a ticket
I hate when that happens!! Poor guy literally and figuratively, ha.
Boy, I think it's a disaster when a tissue goes through the wash. I'd never recover from a tragedy of this magnitude! Good spin...(pun definitely intended.)
Even worse than the pocket of tissues that leave fluff everywhere!
Alas, life's like that!
I think we were on the same wave length this week!
This was tough...although I will say this weeks was tougher for me personally.
Maybe it's one of those mylar tickets...undestructible! ha!
Great micro-treat!
